A hot weekend at the beach

I’m trying to get better at this blogging thing, really I am. I just never thing that I have anything “interesting” going on worth blogging about. Though, the more you talk, the more you have to talk about, so I’m going to try and be more consistent. That, and I’m hoping to post more pictures here, which is always fun.

Anyroads, last weekend was quite hot, and thankfully my ILs had already rented a cottage at Crystal Cove State Park. Considering the fact that our window cracked on Friday night. It was a 20 year old window, and I’m sure plenty of birds, newspapers, rocks, etc have hit it, not to mention earthquakes and the condo settling, so it didn’t take much. Though, we had just finished getting quotes for replacing the windows, so at least we were sort of planning on the expense. We weren’t going to replace that particular window, but now we have to along with the one next to it.

Anyways, after Misha got off of work on Saturday, we packed up and headed towards the coast. It wasn’t much cooler at the beach, but I think it cooled off a bit faster than it did at home. Unfortunately, we forgot our camera. It was too bad because there were dolphins swimming almost right up to people in the water where the waves were breaking. Either way, it was a nice evening.

Sunday, we were debating on whether or not we would go to the beach after Misha got off of work. Home 96, Crystal Cove 75, we’re going to the beach. This time we remembered the camera and managed to take a few pictures. It was our cousin’s first time at the beach, so we had fun taking borrowing pictures.
